The Bloomsbury Peer Support team and the Bloomsbury Network invite you to the fifth of these interviews with Garry Brough. Join us to discover more about Garry’s unique journey and his work supporting other people living with HIV.
Diagnosed HIV+ in 1991, Garry has championed patient involvement and peer-delivered support since co-founding the Bloomsbury Network in 1999, from which he stepped down as Chair in 2019, after 20 years.
He has worked in both the NHS and HIV charities – currently at Positively UK, as Lead for peer learning, partnerships and policy.
He has been a community representative for committees with BHIVA, BASHH and the BMA and currently sits on the London Fast Track Cities Initiative Leadership Group and the National HIV Nurses Association Executive.
Garry also speaks publicly about living and ageing with HIV at the level of press, radio and tv.
