Attend the Zoom Webinar

Let’s talk about Anal Cancer?

Screening and Early Detection to Prevent Anal Cancer – Next Forum Event: 10th May @ 18.30 on Zoom.

Not the most popular topic for discussion – however one we should not ignore. There is currently a research study called SEPAC underway.

SEPAC stands for: Screening and Early Detection to Prevent Anal Cancer.

This is an important issue for our times… Anal Cancer.

  1. What you need to know?
  2. How to avoid it?

We will be joined by

  • Tamzin Cuming FRCS (She/Her), Consultant Colorectal Surgeon, Homerton Anogenital Neoplasma Service Lead
  • Deirdre Sally, Research Nurse, Centre for Clinical Research in Infection & Sexual Health, UCL Institute for Global Health

They will explain in this Forum Event all about the current research trial on SEPAC.

  1. Screening and Early Detection to Prevent Anal Cancer.
  2. Discuss and answer questions including:
    1. Anal Cancer – am I and my friends at risk?
    2. What can be done about it?
    3. Screening, SEPAC and what we need for the future

This will be an opportunity to get an update on the latest research, ask questions and hear from leading experts. You will also hear from participants who have been part of the trial so far.

You will have an opportunity to consider joining the trial.

Please find attached a link to a copy of the SEPAC Participants Information sheet and contact details of Deidre.

Join the Bloomsbury Network and Peer Support team on 10th May @ 18.30 on Zoom.
