January 20 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm
Have you ever wondered what impact HIV has on your sexual health? Are you more vulnerable to sexually transmitted infections? Does HIV change how often you should test or the contraception you use?
Looking after your sexual health is as important as looking after your general health. The Bloomsbury Peer Support team and the Bloomsbury Network invite you to our first Women’s Health seminar where we will focus on the Sexual Health of Women living with HIV.
This seminar will be co-hosted by Dr Rita Browne, a Consultant in Genitourinary Medicine, and Mina Kakaiya, a Mental Health practitioner and a woman living with HIV.
Dr Rita Browne is the Clinic Lead for CNWL Integrated Sexual Health, a Consultant in Sexual Health and HIV, who is passionate about ensuring everyone can access equitable care, including disadvantaged and marginalised populations. She has vast experience in sexual health and HIV management and care.
Mina Kakaiya is a wellbeing coach, public speaker and author. She teaches mental health awareness and mindfulness to guide and uplift people towards unlocking their own unique potential towards personal transformation and wellbeing.
Women’s Sexual Health is open for all to attend, regardless of HIV status or gender identity.
