An award-winning film that documents the struggles of a group of AIDS activists and founders of ACT UP and TAG, who used civil disobedience and other forms of political activism to force the United States government and the medical establishment to develop effective HIV treatment.

Their activism was instrumental to turn HIV from a death sentence to a manageable condition.

The screening will be followed by a Q&A with some of today’s UK based HIV activists.
